The Catering and Event Services department is responsible for the physical well-being of all patients and employees at Frankfurt University Hospital. We cater for guests in the area of staff catering (casino, cafeteria) and also in the area of catering and conference services for internal and external guests.
Your tasks
Ensuring prompt and economical production of all food components (approx. 2,000 full portions daily)
Control of food portioning incl. preparation and post-processing of the food distribution belt
Evaluation of food and order requests for patients (IT-supported)
Expert preparation of production and preparation lists as well as seasonal menus and recipes, including nutritional value calculation
Recording the food actually required for post-calculation
Team organization: creating duty rosters, assigning employees in the area of patient catering, instructing and monitoring specialist and auxiliary staff in the daily production process
Order management and quality control
Your qualifications
Training as a chef or further training as a master chef
At least six years of professional experience as a chef in communal catering, preferably with management experience
Further training certificate as a dietary cook and training certificate are desirable
Good basic IT skills with Office, Windows XP, Excel and Word and SAP MM
Experience with IT-supported cash register systems
Office applications, SAP knowledge is an advantage
Due to legal regulations, valid proof of measles immunity / measles vaccination is required.
