  • Completed training, further training in business administration or studies
  • Experience in F&B purchasing, F&B cost control or category management (e.g. hotel, food retail, contract caterer)
  • Sound knowledge of a food product group
  • High affinity for numbers and strong analytical skills
  • Independent, goal-oriented and sustainable way of working
  • Ability to work in a team, communicative and assertive personality
  • Good MS Office skills (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Experience with merchandise management systems („Delegate“)
  • Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English

Your mission…

  • Responsibility in central purchasing for several product groups
  • Organization, participation and support in supplier tenders
  • Selection of efficient suppliers and optimization of existing supplier relationships
  • Connecting suppliers to the „Delegate“ merchandise management system
  • Target-oriented contract, price and listing negotiations as well as organizing and conducting annual meetings with suppliers
  • Carrying out market observations and analyses of the competition with regard to product range, market prices and current trends
  • Identifying product innovations and developing corresponding purchasing strategies
  • Responsibility for results for the assigned product groups
