Your job
This is what awaits you on your journey with us:
- Under the guidance of the sous chef, you will be responsible for the smooth running of your assigned area within the galley.
- You can work in one of the up to 12 restaurants and bistros on board as well as in various positions (including saucier, gardemanger)
- Responsible for the creation of high-quality dishes and menus, including all preparation and follow-up work
- Organizing, instructing, training and motivating the assigned kitchen crew
- Contract duration of your first assignment: 4 – 6 months, subsequent follow-up contracts possible
- Your advancement will be based on your availability in connection with the deployment planning on board and is generally possible all year round.
Your course & your talents
What you bring on board:
- Completed vocational training as a chef (f⁠/⁠m⁠/⁠d) with an internationally recognized certificate
- Professional experience within the restaurant or hotel kitchen
- Very good knowledge of food preparation, ingredients, recipes
- First experience in managing a kitchen post
- You keep an overview – even when things get hot.
- Good knowledge of German and English
