The Catering and Event Services department is responsible for the physical well-being of all patients and employees at Frankfurt University Hospital. We cater for guests in the area of staff catering (casino, cafeteria) and also in the area of catering and conference services for internal and external guests.

Your tasks

Monitoring the work processes in the area of responsibility
Preparing the workplace and providing the food and equipment required for the day’s production
Production of meals and side dishes based on the specified production data and the menu plan
Co-designing the patient meal plan and the corresponding recipes
If required, working on the food distribution lines for patient catering
If required, working at the food counter and grill (front cooking)
Pre-production according to the cook & chill principle

Your qualifications

Completed vocational training as a chef
Relevant professional experience in company catering
Proper handling of the equipment and work materials entrusted to you
Strong customer orientation
Ability to respond flexibly to constantly changing situations in daily business
Physical resilience and ability to work in a team
Diligence and conscientiousness
Good basic computer skills in the program (Office) Windows XP, Excel and Word and SAP MM.
Experience with IT-supported cash register systems
Good written and spoken German
Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
Presentation of a valid health certificate
All work must be carried out in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations
Due to legal regulations, valid proof of measles immunity / measles vaccination is required
