We are a dedicated team that cares deeply about our border region. With local and supra-regional knowledge, we work together to develop locally anchored initiatives and funded projects covering a wide range of topics. This also includes the development of the Haithabu and Danewerk UNESCO World Heritage Site, which has been registered since 2018. We achieve the best solutions for the district and the World Heritage region in a collegial, interdisciplinary and cross-departmental manner.

Your tasks

In the field of regional development and energy transition
Providing project support and advice on the valorization of open spaces and tourism by third parties, including creating concepts and documentation, attending meetings and coordinating implementation
Managing sub-projects and acquiring funding
Coordinate marketing service contracts, including awarding and budget control
Carry out press and public relations work for Haithabu and Danewerk e. V
Support the management of Haithabu and Danewerk e. V., including the preparation and follow-up of association meetings and personnel administration including bookkeeping
Coordinate reporting for the World Heritage Region 2030

Your qualifications

A completed degree (Bachelor/Dipl. (FH)) in geography, spatial, urban and regional planning, tourism, network and cooperation management, world heritage management, archaeology and history or comparable subjects
Knowledge of target group-oriented presentation and communication
Ability to think in an interdisciplinary and networked way
Experience in project and network work
