Cuisine meets art – our café-restaurant in the renowned Kunsthalle Munich with its sensational exhibitions will surprise you. Anyone who associates art only with painted pictures or wrapped buildings will be introduced to a much broader spectrum of this genre here. The unexpected is always included. Theatiner 8 is not only a great café-restaurant, but also a popular event location where a wide variety of events take place. These include dishes and culinary surprises that range from “excellent-normal” to “extraordinary-sensational”. This requires experts with passion.
YOUR TASKS IN SERVICE
- Work in different shifts
- Service activities and guest care such as taking orders, serving and clearing food, cashing up guests
- Advice and recommendations on our food and drinks
- Preparation of the service (mise en place)
- Tidying up and cleaning work in compliance with hygiene standards
- Ensuring the impeccable appearance of the dining room in accordance with specifications
- Preparing the daily bill
- Assistance with events

Your tasks at the bar:
- Skills and creativity in the preparation of drinks
- Additional knowledge in the barista area desirable
- Serving small snacks
- Restocking and replenishing the bar’s inventory and supplies
- Advice and entertainment of bar guests
- Preparation and follow-up of the work area

- Positive attitude and charisma
- Practical experience and a professional attitude to work
- Absolute customer orientation and friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a team and respectful interaction with each other
- Flexibility in thought and action
- Enjoyment at work
- Good knowledge of German
- Knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage, but not a requirement
