The Waldakademie Mönchhof was previously run as a traditional school hostel. Now the Waldakademie has a new thematic orientation and places a special educational focus on the topics of nature, culture and taste. The Waldakademie kitchen is BIO-certified and presents itself with a modern cuisine and takes into account food intolerances and dietary specialties (vegetarian, vegan, international).
Your tasks
By helping to prepare meals in the school dormitory
By serving meals and cleaning the dining hall and kitchen
By cleaning the dormitories and group rooms when there is a change of occupancy as well as regular basic cleaning
By assisting with events or seminars at the Waldakademie
Your qualifications
With your completed training in housekeeping (desirable)
With your professional experience in housekeeping or the above-mentioned area of responsibility (desirable)
With your already completed food hygiene training (an advantage) or willingness to undergo food hygiene training
With your friendly and appreciative attitude
With your service and guest-oriented approach
With your reliability, resilience, flexibility and team spirit
With your willingness to adapt working hours and vacation times to the capacity utilization of the school hostel
With your careful handling of food intolerances and your sense of cleanliness and tidiness
With your understanding and enjoyment of working with children and young people
With your willingness to be vaccinated against measles and to present a measles vaccination certificate, if required by the Measles Protection Act
With your willingness to work evenings, weekends or sometimes on public holidays
